| | Help me identify this insect Hi,
I found this insect in my flat, 3 cm long gold with brown flecked markings. Multiple legs, the back ones longer and two long antenne. It was able to shed some of its legs.
Any idea what it could be? Images posted |

| | Re: Help me identify this insect Thanks, you are right it's scutigera coleoptrata , apparently quite common to the Channel Islands where I live. It has left me with a number of painful bites! |

| | | Re: Help me identify this insect I found a Scolopendra cingulatus, whilst on holiday in the Algarve 4 years ago. Apparently they can be dangerous to humans.
When I showed it to my host he reacted quite violently, otherwise he was a very cool character never fazed by anything. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
