Insects for ID please

Not to be taken too seriously. I did manage to ID the carrion crow; but need help with the insects



I would point out that I was snapping the bird. The size of the insect pictures might present a problem but I am confident that it will not stand in the way.

grasshoppers,
obviously the one in the beak is bird food,
but heres my thought, at which point does the one on the crows back stop thinking " i've caught a crow" and start realising, "help!"

The insect on it's wing is a male Chironomid fly.

The one in the beak I would venture a guess at a Nomada sp., a cuckoo bee. I think I can see a long antenna, and some yellow marks on what looks like the abdomen but it's a stab in the dark. I saw two Nomada sp. yesterday.
