I would point out that I was snapping the bird. The size of the insect pictures might present a problem but I am confident that it will not stand in the way.

but heres my thought, at which point does the one on the crows back stop thinking " i've caught a crow" and start realising, "help!" |

| | | Re: Insects for ID please The insect on it's wing is a male Chironomid fly.
The one in the beak I would venture a guess at a Nomada sp., a cuckoo bee. I think I can see a long antenna, and some yellow marks on what looks like the abdomen but it's a stab in the dark. I saw two Nomada sp. yesterday.
