Small Ichneumon wasp ?

Found this wasp sitting on my car yesterday, around 3.5mm body length. Not sure if it's an Ichneumon ? 2nd shot is a crop from the first

Morning Toby,

It has the jist of a Braconidae member for me. The legs of Braconids tend to seem longer and with more bends in them than ichneumons' - but I don't know if that's actually scientific, it just seems to be the way with these in my experience! Generally it also seems slimmer and less robust-looking, and as you said it's only c3mm.

Do you have a dorsal view?

Thanks for the thoughts jason - you may be right , think I just associate long antennae with Ichneumons

Fraid no dorsal view - If I try that on my car I just get a whole lot of glare from the metallic paint
