| | | 3 To I.D. Please.Especially number 3! Hi Guys
I went for a nice walk along th Moine Mhor today which is peat bog near to where I live. It should be a good place for dragon fly etc when the summer gets here.
Any way, do you think you could I.D. the following for me. I apologise for the quality of the pictures but I'm still learning.
This first one was on a wooden post and was no more than 3 mm in length. He wouldn't sit still for one second.
This one was also on a wooden post and was about 1cm in length.
And finally I haven't got the faintest idea what this is. I didn't want to disturb it just for a better photo so I'm afraid this is the only angle I could get.
It Looks very strange to me!!
Thank you in advance.

| | | Re: 3 To I.D. Please.Especially number 3! Evening Dave,
The first is a young instar ( juvenile) of a Shieldbug. The second as Ladyhawk says, looks like a Stonefly and the last... your guess is as good as mine!
Take care, Jason |

Thanks for all the info, most appreciated.
