Here come the bees! Please help with IDs...

Thanks Janet. Having gone through the Bees of Surrey last night, I think you must be right. It's by far the earliest I've seen it. Last year I didn't see one in the garden until June! Wish I'd got a better photo of it... oh well, now it's around maybe I will. This must be from the first brood I guess - and last years was from the 2nd brood. For info it was feeding at crocus and white heather (which is in full bloom at the moment).
