| | Grasshopper at Rye 
This small, 2-3 cm, grasshopper was seen on the shingle beds at Rye Harbour, E Sussex in Sept 2009. Can you do anything with it?

| | | Re: Grasshopper at Rye Yep Pete.Its Chorthippus brunneus.The Field Grasshopper ,which likes shorter grass ,bare ground with sparse vegetation and lots of sun,so it might explain why this one was down at the beach   .

Hey, Serendip, the GFC must be biting hard in the UK but I'm glad that you can still afford the herbs to go with them. We usually eat the Witjuti grubs au natural
