| | | Anthophora plumipes Has anybody seen Anthophora yet? I saw my first of the year today, high pitched buzz, and a male crossed the garden. No chance of a photo though.

| | | Re: Anthophora plumipes Hi Cheryl, I agree, a female, what are the flowers? You should be able to see the males around as well, they patrol their flower patch and chase other flower visiting insects such as bees, bumblebees and even butterflies!

| | | Re: Anthophora plumipes Hi - the shrub is Osmanthus delavayi. The flowers have a really exotic fragrance.
