| | | A bug and a beetle for ID please. Hi all,
Two from leaf litter today.
This looks like a macropterous damsel bug to me, but I can't decide which one.
The second one is a Carabid, possibly a Leistus sp. ? Quite small around 6-7mm long.
I doubt that a species is possible from this pic. but genus would be good.

Also your pic shows the hind angles of the pronotum to be at right angles, L.rufomarginatus pronotum has no angle...hope this helps? |

| | | Re: A bug and a beetle for ID please. I can see no elytral 'tooth': if that's correct then it can only be L. fulvibarbis. However, the definition of the photograph in that area isn't great so I may be wrong. It does look like Leistus fulvibarbis .... | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
