| | | Unidentified Insect Good Morning everyone.
I'm completely baffled by this insect, which I took a photograph of in July 2007 in East Kent. It is about 12mm long, and didn't stay on the Hazel Leaf long enought for more than this single photograph.
My first thought was Ichneumon Fly, but now I think possibly a Sawfly. Please can one of you identify it for me?
Thanks in advance,
Steve |

| | | Re: Unidentified Insect Afternoon Steve, Ichneumon Wasp. I'd say similar to Treehawk's ID above - Ichneumoninae sub-family anyway, in my opinion.
Take care, Jason |
