Remember that this is a test version and that microscopy and dissection will be necessary for some (many) species. However, it is the place to start for anyone wishing to study our largest beetle family; there are some good tips in the introduction as well! |

Thanks for the link! Very good to know there's a key that's easily-accessed online for this group - I had no idea there were so many!
It also features a good guide to Coleopteran genetalia removal - it makes it look so easy! I'll give that site some more thought this spring/summer, I'm hoping to undertake my first proper dissection this year.
