Still three species on the wing in East Yorkshire. Migrant Hawker until at least the 5th at Tophill Low.
62 Common Darters and a Black Darter at Skipwith Common on 6th.
Are there any other species still being recorded nationally ?

Nothing so far in Stoke on Trent. Must admit to returning to Kingfisher watching, but would still spot a dragon on wing. |

Paul. | Today we saw about a dozen Common Darters at Leybourne Lakes in Kent today. They're not in bad nick either. They were also very active in the mid-day sun. Julie

Today at nature reserve I saw some browny hawker type things buzzing about, sorry were a bit far away and I'm not very good at IDing them. They were overshadowed by the kingfisher and sand piper. |

I saw a Common Darter on Thursday 9th in Wiltshire when I was out looking for a kingfisher. |

Yesterday (15th) saw a pair of Common Darters in tandem also a lone male. What I can only think was a Migrant Hawker was also seen. All of these sightings were at Ferry Meadows, Peterborough.

Still one Common Darter at Spurn Point on 15th. The latest East Riding record is 17th November in 2004, so still a few days to go to beat this. Weather turning colder next week could bring a final close to the season.
