| | | Re: ID bug on oak lichen Looks like a Springtail to me. Hard to say which though! You can make out the head and antennae sufficiently (I think!) to say it's a Springtail.

I agree - it can only be O. cincta. I don't think there are any others similar-looking enough to confuse it with - the pale band is distinctive, though the usually black body can appear brown ( the band is always discernible though).
