| | | Booklice are back I don't think they ever went away, tho. I have found one of the tiny white speck sized one and lots of the 2mm approx. brown ones. I have been told that these are both booklice. Are they? I think I've got two different species.
I have moved out of my bedroom. I don't want to sleep in there anymore. I found some of the brown ones on my bedside table. I thought if they are there, they're sure to be on the bedframe and mattress.
I have the central heating on, the dehumidifer going nearly all day, I have moisture absorbers scattered around the room and in draws. I have scattered moth balls around and in draws and put ant killer powder around. I'm vacuming and when you think it's safe, they're back. I'm starting to get paranoia about them. I have not used my laptop (where I found LOTS of the tiny ones) since before Christmas.
I had not seen one for over a month and there they were. I have now found them in a box (where I keep papers and books) in the living room.
Has anyone got any other ideas on what to do? |

I doubt there is anything else you could do! I may suggest additionally that you use grout or Polyfilla to seal any gaps around the skirting board/floor with wall.
Take care, Jason |

| | | Re: Booklice are back Thanks Jason!
I will fill in every teeny tiny hole I can find. Last night I found one on the wall near the light switch. This scared me coz this is near the next bedroom. This wall is wallpapered; the only wall that is. I'm now scared they are living under the wallpaper feeding off the paste. I'm going to take off the wallpaper. Once I've done that and filled in all the holes, I'm thinking of covering the entire room in ant killing powder, moving out of my room for about a week and then vacumning everything up. I know it won't cover everything but I'm hoping it will help to eradictate them. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
