| | 6 queen wasps this winter! We have had at least 5 or 6 queen wasps flying into our kitchen OVER THE WINTER! The first was months ago, before Christmas, and every now and again one will appear and hurtle around the place, banging into things. Eventually it will calm down and disappear. I find them next day on the curtains or walls and trap them with a glass and card and release them outside. I am getting worried because my husband has had violent reactions when stung by bees (and, in fact, we have given up keeping them.) Can anyone suggest what to do next please? We do not know quite where they are coming from, so have no idea how long the queue is! |

| | | Re: 6 queen wasps this winter! Basically dont worry if you are allergic to bee stings it does not mean you are to wasp stings. In my experience queens are not particularly aggressive, I would keep doing what you are doing. They are not part of a hive or anything just hibernating and being disturbed. |
