| |  what bit me?
i had a small black insect on my finger last night,i got it off and my finger started burning,when i woke up today my finger has 3 little slits like a razor cut,does anyone know what bit me? |

At this time of year there can't be too many possibilities. Was it a spider? If so, maybe a False Widow spider, a Steatoda sp., scientifically - the colour matches at least!

and also let us know where you are - we are assuming you are in the uk , but if you are overseas then there are thousands of other possiblities

hi,thanks for responding,i didnt have a good look at the insect,but it was small and round,black and shiny you couldnt see any legs sticking out, i didnt realise what it was at first and my reaction was just to get it off as it was burning and stinging

haha as odd as it sounds it is what happened i thought it strange myself thats why i have asked everyone,no i dont think its a the vampire altho it may be an easier explanation |

Ah, ahow about a Flower Bug - Anthocoris sp.? Whilst I don't know which if any hibernate as adults they are tiny, black and are known to bite! |
