| | what bit me? i had a small black insect on my finger last night,i got it off and my finger started burning,when i woke up today my finger has 3 little slits like a razor cut,does anyone know what bit me? |

At this time of year there can't be too many possibilities. Was it a spider? If so, maybe a False Widow spider, a Steatoda sp., scientifically - the colour matches at least!

| | | Re: what bit me? hi,thanks for responding,i didnt have a good look at the insect,but it was small and round,black and shiny you couldnt see any legs sticking out, i didnt realise what it was at first and my reaction was just to get it off as it was burning and stinging
