Pupa/chrysalis ID?

Taken 31st January. Gibside estate, Tyne & Wear. I'd say it was about 1 inch in length, if that helps.
Any ideas appreciated.

I would say a Large White butterfly.

I suspect it is, but I was a bit thrown by the colour. Most of the ones I've seen (and there are always loads in my garden) are a lot more greyish in colour, and much more heavily marked with black speckles, but maybe they're just very variable?

I agree large white. They are very variable. And are often very green.
