| | My site, 'London Invertebrates' - Major Relaunch!! Hi all,
You may have seen my London Invertebrates website. Well, over the last few weeks I have been spending many hours processing images, creating an entirely new layout for each species page so you can get more images of each species on there and a new thumbnail idea at the top of each family pop-up page to aid quick navigation, to name but a few noticeable improvements. There are now 515+ insects named and photographed on there, with many more being added.
I have a new 'Articles' section on there too – such as how Latin names are worked out, the methods I use to mount insects ( which will be coming soon), etc. You will also find a News page where I will be carrying any stories on London's wildlife and any notable new species I come across.
I am currently going through my posts on WAB so I can acknowledge all of those here who have given Ids, too. If I've missed any, let me know!
Please have a look at the site, and tell me what you think of it either below or on the site's [now fixed!] Guestbook! I am open to 'Reciprocal links' to other WAB'ers sites if anyone are interested. I have already linked to WAB.
Oh, and I've created the website and checked it on my laptop's screen resolution of 800x1000 – higher screen resolutions may display the site with blank space at the edge of the screen – let me know if you get any problems.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you like the Improved version. Absolutely anyone are welcome to look at the site/comment! London Invertebrates - v3!
* Mods - I am just posting on here for the benefit of members who may only look in on the Insects and Invertebrates board and not the 'New Posts' page*
Take care, Jason |

| | | Re: My site, 'London Invertebrates' - Major Relaunch!! Jason, you're doing a great job and I can see what a huge task it is!
Just a bit of feedback: I checked out the links page and several of them record 404s - seems that they've got 'freehostia' bits as part of their address which is causing this. |
