| | | Re: bombus terrestris? Tail colour is problematic with workers its best to record these as terrestris/lucorum, unless you have a specimen to look at in detail. Also can you please state where the photo was taken, size, habitat and time of year (in general, not so much just bee's). |

B. terrestris can have white tails, but there is generally a thin brown line along the top edge. Not 100% though, although in my (limited) experience B. lucorum can appear a little shaggier than B. terrestris. Yours look a little shaggier to me. |
