Barkflies x 4

Hi all,

Apart from the usual Barkflies I have which seem to be plentiful, I have had a few lately which seem to be more rare. They have most likely always been here but I have only started to see them since getting a macro lens.

Epicaecilius pilipennis ~ 3rd November 2009

Cerobasis guestfalica ~ 16th & 17th October 2009

Trichopsocus dalii ~ 22nd November 2009

Blaste quadrimaculata ~ 2nd July 2009.

A tiny nymph which could be Trichopsocus brincki on 15th December but that is speculation.

Of course these may not all be correct but most look good to me. 'Trichopsocus dalii' was white with green but not good pics. Blaste quadrimaculata I posted previously.

Epicaecilius pilipennis 2 pics, it was running.

Cerobasis guestfalica 3 pics, well camouflaged. Second time I saw it it was running too.

Well, at least we can agree that they are always insects...
