Hi,
As Chris has asked to see my pics of my strange wasp I have made it the next job to be done!
I actually took pics on three different days, 14th October first which I put a size of 4.5mm to on sight but around that mark. I have uploaded 5 pics of this which I'm posting first.
Second was on 22nd October which looked like the same wasp but could have been another, this time I put 5mm size on sight. Uploaded 3 pics.
Third was on 23rd October, this time it had the back of the thorax ripped off, size again I put as 5mm. 2 pics.

Nice photos ... it's just a guess but I would start by looking at aphidiine braconids |

Thanks Chris, good lead.. I found one which looks very close if not the same. Chorebus lateralis Chorebus lateralis
Now I need to see if I can find more pics of the same, so far I have had a quick look and these are the only pics but I haven't searched far.  |
