A pair of waspish ids
Struggling with identifications for both of these - any help would be appreciated. Taken at the beginning of August, in Surrey. These thistles were covered with all sorts, including a Purple Hairstreak.

2nd one looks like a Cerceris sp.

The top one is Philanthus triangulum and the lower one is Cerceris rybyensis
