Spierlike Insect
Can anyone identify this insect? At first glance I thought it was a spider.

Hi FAB, and welcome to WAB

You're quite correct - it is a spider. This one's a Nursery-web Spider, and Pisaura mirabilis in Latin. It has lost two legs - I think the second down on our left (...see the stump?) and third right - maybe due to attempted predation or tangles with other males.
