I am a keen amateur photographer, who has learned how to take slides using my Nikon F80, a Nikon 28-200mm ED IF G lens and a roll of either Fuji Provia 100F if using a tripod or Fuji Provia 400F if taking hand held pics.

Welcome to WAB, yes quite a few of us started with film and slides, a few of us even developed our own black and white and colour negatives and printed from them, and that was not so long ago.
