Unidentified bug at home...please help??

Hi there, can somebody please help me? I have, not a problem as such, but now and then my partner and I see tiny transparent little bugs in our house. They don't seem to be attracted to anything specific, ie.wood, carpet or dust. They are about 1mm long, seem to be transparent. I thought they might be book lice, but after looking more closely, have ruled them out. I dont have a camera good enough to take a picture so if anybody has any clue and a picture, then please get in touch. Thank you.

Why have you ruled out booklice? They do sound most likely...

Not a clever photo but was it like this?

We have loads of them. I guessed it to be some kind of louse but thought it to be too rounded in shape to be a book louse

I have been looking on different websites at the pictures of booklice. My bugs, just dont seem to be quite the same. But they do look similar but my ones are translucent, and all the pictures I have seen are not. But I will definately think about it again. Thank you for replying.
