| | | What might be found on these shrubs? We have a number of introduced species of trees and shrubs in the gardens and parks near here. For example arbutus, fig, gingko, holm oak and a couple I have photos of but don’t know their names.
What sort of insects might I find on these, so far I’ve only seen flies (bluebottles) and possibly a few hoverflies.
The first is Arbutus (strawberry bush?) the other two I know by sight but not their names.

| | | Re: What might be found on these shrubs? I get blackbirds and the occasional black cap on my Fatsia in the winter as it produces black berries the birds love not sure what insects go on them, will have a look on a mild day. |

| | | Re: What might be found on these shrubs? The strawberry bush is the host-plant for the two-tailed pasha butterfly, a real beauty, so if global warming keeps pace for the next few decades you could have these in your garden
