| | | Beetle ID please When i opened my backdoor, this Beetle looked like it was waiting to come in.
Its around 5mms long, it looks quite similar to a Carpet Beetle, so i`m assuming its some relation ... |

It does retract all its legs and antennae when disturbed. PILL BEETLE: when disturbed, adults retract their legs and antennae into ventral recesses, forming a compact "pill" |

| | | Re: Beetle ID please Definitely a Byrrhus sp., but I'm not so sure about it being B. pilula as there are four similar species and if it's as small as you say it's probably one of the others.
