| |  shieldbug tachinid greenbottle?
Hello all,
grateful for help with these three -
Shield bug on nettle leaf, has me stumped! 
possible tachinid on aster? 
and lastly, greenbottle spp on aster 
hopefully theres enough detail in the pics!

#2 a muscid - Phaonia sp. ... the photo shows a fly with a straight/unbent median vein which would be very rare in tachinids
#3 a calliphorid - Lucilia sp. ... compare the wing venation here and you will see the median vein is bent - characteristic of sarcophagids, calliphorids, most tachinids and some muscids |

Hi Ken,
Jason is correct, Palomena prasina Green Shieldbug final instar nymph. I have one under my south window the same, getting a nice size now.

Nearest I could get for 1 was green shieldbug, but forgot about nymphs ...........!
