| | | Strange camouflage flying insect Hi
Can any one identify this insect. We have two in the house, they are about 2cm long with a 2.5 cm wing span and very stick like and when resting on items they are in the shape of a T. They take the background colour of the item they are resting on. At the moment we have one an oatmeal colour and the other cream.
We have not seen them fly but they do appear in different places so we assume that they fly. They are very stationary and move very little. No picture available at present, |

| | | Re: Strange camouflage flying insect HI, welcome to WAB.
They sound like Plume Moths to me. Moths usually go for camouflage so that's probably what they are doing on the same colour background.
I would say you have two different species. Plume moth - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
