Something's in my Kalanchoe

Hi.

I wonder if you can help me. I bought two Kalanchoes from B&Q a couple of months ago an i noticed that beneath the pink one, there has been a constant smattering of little brown/black granules. It took me a while to realise it is some sort of fecal matter. Something has been eating the leaves and my sister spotted a small green caterpillar, which I've not seen since. There are two small almost web like 'bits' on the plant, but I can not see anything obvious in either.

I looked up what can eat Kalanchoe and I found the Red Pierrot (Talicada nyseus), which is native to Asia.

Is it likely to be this? Whatever it is is still very active as I have to clear away the faeces daily, there is a remarkable amount for something I can't even see!!

If the caterpillar you saw was green it can't be the Talicada. Google the name and you will see it burrows into the leaves and is whitish. There is a little brown moth which attacks houseplants and has a green caterpillar.
