ID for insect please

Have been trying to identify this insect for about two years now.
Any ideas as to what it is

'Tis an alderfly, Sialis sp. These are their own small group (4 UK species?), related to lacewings and the like. They're associated with water and you see them occasionally, but the species are very, very hard to separate.

A good book for these is:-A key to the adults of British lacewings and their allies,by Colin W.Plant,in the Field Studies Council Aidgap series.This lists three U.K species,seperated only by examination of the genitalia.It is possible that others have been found since this book was published in 1997.Jason.
