Fly was taken in a Bristol garden last month. The millipede in a Bristol yard last week and approx 30mm long. I think the millipede is Cylindroiulus caeruleocinctus?   |

Thanks for the ID. I notice we dont really have any millipede/centipede experts on here or at least none that look at my threads!lol. Its a shame really I could really use one! |

You might have trouble getting an ID for the millipede, it's in the family Juliidae, snake millipede but you really need to see more detail such as the tail end. They can be difficult unless there's visible patterning too, such as the striped millipede with a definite stripe down it's back. I have one which has the tail end of the striped, but has no stripe!
