Drone fly or large hoverfly or something for ID pls
I've tried this against all the main hoverflies and such like and it doesn't seem quite right. There seem to be lots of them about - large and rather angry - and needing rescuing from the sunroom. Thanks as ever.

Myathropa florea. They breed in damp rot holes. You might find them at Ivy blossom at the moment. A fairly common + distinctive hoverfly.

Thank you aeshna5. We've lots of ivy blossom not far from the sunroom so that explains the influx.
