I have three spiders for ID, please! 20/09/2009 They all came from under bricks or decking on the same day Thanks for reading.

| | | Re: [ID] Three brick-living spiders, please! Just guesses. The first looks like one of the Tegenaria species. The second is probably a Lycosidae species and it could be an immature animal; there are a couple of grey species which can be found in the south but both are rather rare. The colouration of the third reminds me of a Lepthyphantes (Linyphiidae family) possibly L. minutus but I'm not sure about this species hiding under bricks.
Some sizes would help to narrow down the choices.
You may need to ask again in the Spider forum to obtain some expert help. |
