Wasp (?) with red abdomen for ID

Really bad photos of this one I'm afraid! I'm hoping someone may have an idea what this could be?

Difficult to say; superficially has the look of a sphecid or pompilid but the antennae appear to be composed of too many segments; probably some sort of ichneumon therefore.

Thanks for your ideas on this one. I know the pics are awful, it was only there for a few seconds. I'll wait to see if anyone else has any ideas, but in the meantime thanks for all your help.

I don't think it is an aculeate Jane. It looks like it has way more than 13 Antennal segments (the max number for male aculeate wasps). This would rule out things like Pompilids as well as Podalonia, Ammophila and very small things like Mimesa

I suspect this is an Ichneumonid of some sort
