What are these please?
Hey everybody,

can anyone out there help me out in identifying these beetles? I have had a look through some of the bug i.d. books and had a google and think it might possibly be a clover root weevil? Or some other kind of weevil? They were caught on pest monitoring traps in my place of work.



Hope these images work ok, and look forward to seeing what you all make of them!

It looks like a Sitona sp., which is as you say, a Weevil. Are you familiar with Latin names?

They look like Sitona suturalis . A species that feeds on vetches.

Ooo interesting! I spose they don't do any damage indoors do they? I wonder where they are coming from...

Are there plants where you work? open windows? is it close to the entrance? What sort of work is it?
