I have considered Tipula vernalis, just not sure if it's still active - I read it was most common in May. Not too sure. |

Done a 'google' and it looks good for that; dark stripe along its back, a dark triangle on the thorax and green eyes, just the time seems a bit awry.
Is it just a sign of the times that this one is still around in September ?? | | |
