Guests in the conservatory

Had a few guest whilst watching TV in the conservatory the other night.
Don't have to go out searching for Wildlife, given a chance it comes to you.

Think the Mouse spider, was chasing the other spiders around the house, as I'd seen it earlier in the week, in other rooms.

Had quite a few Silver Ys which seem to be prolific this year. I catch 'em and throw them out, but like Yellow underwings they come right back in again.
Not quite sure of some of the Ids

Your little beetle is Phaedon tumidulus not Chrysolina menthasti. Both in the same family though.

The bottom right picture is Harvest Fly (Daddy Longlegs) produced from the Leatherjacket Grub, the Latin name of which i have no idea.

No idea what you've got there Col, but it seems yr attracting some wildlife eh!

I've a rather 'large' spider in my living room called Boris...he only comes out at night from the disused fireplace to scare the pants off me - belive me he's big!!!

The first pic'll be yer feller Cazzie, Tegenaria Gigantea. They're scary 'cos they move so fast and always straight at yer


Yep Beekeeper that's what it is, Crane fly/Daddy long legs etc - Tipula oleracea

Still lacking a confirmation on the large bee, the size of it I wandered if it were a Queen.

Sad news. Found the bathroom Tegenaria all scrunched up, its legs forming a perfect defensive circle around its body........... but to no avail. Light as a feathered, it'd been sucked dry. A victim of the Mouse Spider i'd think!

Still looking for the large Bumble id, think it's B. Terrestris........ but the patterns and colouring are so variable, it's not easy to be sure.
