As a follow-up to my previous post there is a note on the Fera site which indicates that as there are no practical measures which can be used to prevent the introduction of this bug there is no need to notify Fera (hence Defra) or the FC. |

My wife went over to open the window a little further last night and we found one of these hanging on the curtain!
We had a look at it in a glass and just thought it looked really strange and intimidating! haha.
Just thought i would log onto this site and try to identify it when I found these posts.
We live in Burton On Trent. |

Hello! This is my first ever post here!
I've just registered because this site (and this thread) helped me identify a photo on friend's facebook page as a Western Conifer Seed Bug.
I've sent her the link to register her find.

We're in Deal, so very close to Dover (where the thread started).

I found one of these bugs - 2am this morning - watching me as I powdered my nose. Gave me a start I can tell you, they're considerably larger than your average bug Booboo.
Anyone else found these in Leeds? |
