Rhopalus subrufus bug??

Wondered if this was a Rhopalus subrufus bug? Found in my garden today.

That's correct, AKA a Scentless Plant Bug - Rhopalidae family. A first garden record?

Yes it is a first garden record Jason - how did you guess?

Didn't look like a bug when I first spotted it but I knew it was something I hadn't seen before. It didn't stay long, hence the poor pictures.

Didn't realise they had a common name. Does that mean that other plant bugs are particularly smelly? (I note that they have something called a "stink gland"). I believe they are usually seen in woodlands/hedgerows. This one was in the flowerbed, so was obviously on a jolly.
