The bottom one is Mellinus arvensis I feel quite sure, it is about now. Nice shots! Not so sure about the top pics, maybe a male?

Mandibles have yellow on them, eyes are larger and close together, doesn't have the yellow stripe down the eye edge, has much more yellow on the antennae base. |

The first 2 pics are of an Ectemnius (not in the cephalotes/sexcinctus group).
I mage 3 is certainly Mellinus arvensis |

Yeah, now I look again the first 2 are definitely different to the 3rd one - sorry about that! Thanks for your help!
My camera isn't anything flash at all. Just a Canon S3 with a Raynox DCR-250 macro lens slapped on the end |

Thanks. So have you also made any enhancements to these such as sharpness and anti-noise in Photoshop or similar? |
