Is it possible to id this seemingly characteristic looking fly please?

Mesembrina meridiana, often called the Noon Fly.

It looks like Mesembrina meridiana. I say looks like because there are a few similar species and I'm no expert on flies.

They like basking in sunshine, so are probably feeling hard done by this year!
