| | | British Insects and their Geographical Distribution Greetings !
I live near London (in Essex) and would be interested to know if any sources exist for the geographical distribution of British insects. I mean, I have available the names of all British insects but would like to know if their distribution has been mapped on, say,a county by county basis ? So that I can know, for example, the insects of Essex.
Is such information available as part of a multi volume survey of British Insects ?
Thanks for any help/suggestions.

| | | Re: British Insects and their Geographical Distribution There are a few books on the distribution in essex for specific groups ie. Dragonflies of essex. For other groups Ive seen some distribution maps in Essex naturalist journal
There are few here on the essex field club site Species surveys
And even more here A-Z Species Index
Hope thats helpful |

Far too numerous to list all that is in print |
