Something has been busy on this stem in my garden. The plant is Fox and Cubs (Pilosella aurantiacum). Anyone know what lays so many eggs?  |

Hi Brocs,
I think we had a similar image recently, and Charlie (Charlieb) suggested it being the work of moths.

Not as good as it's supposed to be according to the maker. 
It was pouring with rain, and blowing a gale though.

I might be tempted to agree with Noctuid at a push, but without seeing them in the hand, I would be very reluctant to put them to a species. |
