| | | Why are there so many wasps around? Hi
I've been hearing this a lot this summer and also heard a few dubious answers so I was wondering if any of the experts on this board would be able to answer?
Many thanks |

| | | Re: Why are there so many wasps around? Its simply the time of year, late summer is when colonies are at their largest so you see more around. More in your area? perhaps more nests local to you this year. Its not been a bad summer so plenty around. |

| | | Re: Why are there so many wasps around? They are attracted to a Sugar solution. Desolve a teaspoon or two of demerara sugar in a little hot water, and place outside in a shallow saucer.
I tried it for another reason, and got loads of 'em

| | | Re: Why are there so many wasps around? Chop an apple in half and hang it on a fence in an unused corner of the garden and see how many you get then! We've got hundreds but at least they tend to stay in one place (none in the house yet.). |
