It's a species of ichneumon.

Agree with Aeshna5. Further, these bright orange ones often with yellow faces are from the Ichneumonidae sub-family Ophioninae. With so many of these wasps in the UK, an exact ID is often difficult/impossible unless it's a really distinctive one... sometimes!

Yes, it's from the same sub-family of Ichneumons - Ophioninae.
