I struggle with identifying insects but I think I may have got this one right.
Can anyone please confirm but if incorrect do not hesitate to out me right?.

| | | Re: Fly Male Mesembrina Meridiana Lackford 17.8.09 Awww, so nearly! This is actually a Tachinidae fly, Tachina fera. The Noon Fly Mesembrina meridiana is mainly black with orangey wings and yellow cheeks, and is a Muscidae member. Keep at it Brian - you're doing great! |

May I claim an 'E' for effort although my wife does the photography while I struggle with identification of what she photographs. 'Coolies grunter' in other words. (Hope that is not deemed racist!!.

They used the cane frequently and sometimes we had to go and buy the cane for the teacher who then 'practiced' on us. That was in Londonderry nine out of ten would have warrented one stroke..
Feel that society could do with a dose of that now; may cure some of the problems.
