It does appear to be successfully breeding now, how long 'til we get it in the Midlands? That will be a good crowd puller for a WAB meet?

I'm afraid you've blinded me with technology as I'm not really a photographer- just take basic shots with my compact- sometimes strike lucky though!
I'm sure it'll mean a lot to some of our very capable photographers on here though. Well done anyway on getting the images! |

Not being good at identification I had named a photograph taken by my wife in June at Strumpshaw Fen as an emerald damselfly but someone pointed out that it was in fact a Willow Emerald whose photograph had been taken some three months before the Staverton sighting.
This is what I think is the Willow Emerald having been shown the error of my first identification. |

| | | Re: Willow Emerald Damselfly Hi Brian,
apologies for delay in replying, but my damselfly i.d. skills on Emeralds are probably worse than yours, however this does look like a Willow Emerald as you point out, I am sure Brian and I would be happy to receive confirmation. Very nice photo by the way.
Regards to H.O. |

Regards to H.O. | Please do not worry about the error as you cannot be as bad as I am at identification despite every effort to get it right.
H.O. appreciates your coment.
Thanks.
