Hi All.
Help is again needed to ID several Dragonflies. I have moved them into the Wildlife Unidentified Gallery and they are on page 2 if you are viewing at 30 images to the page. They are all by StuartDH so should you have any queries please ask him. If you can ID them, please leave a message to the relevant photo so they can be titled and put back into their proper Gallery.

Thanks for that Fourwings.
I have left the Azure Damselfly in the Wildlife Unidentified Gallery in case somebody is willing to give a positive ID.
Perhaps I could ask that you and others have a look in that Gallery periodically, say weekly, as there are always new images in there to be IDed.

Its always prolematical identifying blue Damselflies from photos, unless certain diagnostic features can be seen clearly there are several species that appear to be very much alike, having said that I'd be about 75% certain that it is a male Azure, but I agree with you it's probably best left where it is for now.
I will certainly keep an eye on the un-identified Gallery & help out where I can, its great to be able to give a little something back to a site that has given me so much enjoyment | | |
