| | | Earwig & Soldier beetle for confirmation I think this is a Common red soldier beetle - Rhagonycha fulva
I think I'm right in saying this is a male Earwig (judging by the curve in the pincers) - Forficula auricularia? but having googled "earwig" I'm not sure how many UK species there are
