| | | Help in ID Please Sorry if in the wrong place but do not know if these are Moths or Butterflys so need some help in there ID folks,as still new to all things creepy crawly 
Taken in the Culbin Sands Forrest Nairn the other day sorry images not to great but were a grab shot 
Any help given gratefully received as Im hopeless

| | | Re: Help in ID Please As a teenager I regularly found Magpie Moths + their larvae (usually on Gooseberry) in my parent's London garden, but haven't seen one down here for ages.
Last week I saw many of these moths on a day on the west side of Scotland- good to see them again! |

| | | Re: Help in ID Please I have a photo of a moth that is quite similiar to this. I wonder if anyone can id it without a photograph. Its the same colours as this one, mainly white with black markings. Yellow head, 'shoulders' upper-body & tail. (same yellow as the magpie) The rest of the body is black with yellow/white bands. I came across it in Cornwall, on the wall of the ladies room!
